Projects/ Internships

Research Intern in Educational Data Analytics at MIT’s STEP Lab
June 2023 - Present
Contributed to high-impact research focusing on the strategic implementation of Project-based Learning (PBL) curricula. Conducted a case study comparing Massachusetts educators to understand the variables affecting curriculum adoption. Co-authored a research paper targeting the AERA conference. Played a key role in refining the full software system that hosts PBL content. Extending contributions into the fall, focusing on quantitative data analysis for our upcoming paper on place-based learning.

Teaching Assistant for MIT’s Physics Department
September 2023 - Present
Grading exams and problems sets, as well as assisting students taking MIT’s 8.01 (Physics Mechanics)

Bioinformatics Project Management Lead at STEMaway
Summer 2021
Student lead at STEM-Away, a virtual-internship platform to prepare students for tech careers. Worked on the full product cycle of a Transcriptomics R Shiny App - project definition, researching existing solutions, UX interviews, coding. Managed project logistics throughout the development period and simultaneously contributed to backend code and GitHub team page.

Math Intern at Edfinity
